Noniel: *takes Wynnie to visit Eowyn* Hey, Eowyn
Eowyn: Hi, Noni, hi Wynnie.
Wynnie: Hiii, Eowyn! *hugs and runs up to play with Melly*
Noniel: Heh, hi. How've you been?
Eowyn: I've been well, how are you?
Noniel: Also well. *smiles and starts making tea* What have you been up to?
Eowyn: Nothing really. You? *gets out some cookies to go with the tea*
Noniel: Oh, just work. *serves tea and sits* Are you getting much business lately?
Eowyn: *laughs shortly* Oh no. No one needs help in this city.
Noniel: *amused look* You're kidding, right?
Eowyn: Well. Everyone's fucking crazy. But no one wants to talk about it.
Noniel: I suppose that's true. They ARE a little stubborn. *nods* So what are you going to do now?
Eowyn: *shrugs* I've been taking care of things. I grow a lot of herbs, sell them and tonics and brews at the market.
Noniel: Ahh. Well hey, that sounds good. *smiles* Oh, would you like to help take care of Turgon's horses? I convinced him to let the Rohirrim take care of them
Eowyn: Sure! *smiles* That sounds fun.
Noniel: *grins* Good! I figured it would be a good way to keep our culture in tact here.
Eowyn: Yes. Turgon has let me ride some of his horses before. They're good, but they do need some training.
Noniel: *nods* And what better way than to have the horse lords train them. *smiles*
Eowyn: We'll have those horse whipped into shape in no time. *grins*
Noniel: *laughs* Yes! And they're beautiful, strong horses, so they have a lot of potential. They're just not being pushed to it.
Eowyn: Well, we can certainly make sure they're living up to their potential.
Noniel: *nods* And I think it'll be good for Wynnie, too. And we can teach Melly if you think she'll like it
Eowyn: Well, we can TRY with Melly. Maybe if Wynnie does it, she'll try.
Noniel: Sure. I'm sure they'd have fun together.
Eowyn: *smiles* We'll see. I think Melly's afraid of being trampled.
Eowyn: She's mentioned it once or twice when the subject's come up.
Noniel: Hm. Well, suggest it to her, if she doesn't want to join us, that's okay.
Eowyn: Okay, we'll see.
Noniel: *nods and sips her tea* ...things with Theo are a little strange right now.
Eowyn: Oh? What's going on?
Noniel: He's trying to be nicer.
Eowyn: Well, that's good, isn't it?
Noniel: ...yes. I just wish it didn't make me like him more. *shakes her head*
Eowyn: *shakes her head too* Oh, Noni.
Noniel: I know. >.< I have issues.
Eowyn: Seriously. You need to STOP.
Noniel: Don't you think I'm trying? I don't know what else to do.
Eowyn: *sighs* I've suggested this Theo too - you guys need some distance.
Noniel: ...mm. If that's what it comes down to, we'll figure it out.
Eowyn: I don't understand this, really, Noni. You know this is a HUGE problem, right? You just need to stop. I realize that you can't just turn your feelings on and off like that, but you need to stop giving in to them, stop listening to them, remember that he's your BROTHER, not your LOVER, and realize that you're damaging your relationship with him with this unhealthy obsession. It's time to move on from this.
Noniel: I'm trying! I haven't given in to anything!
Eowyn: *shrugs* Except you're still thinking about it. That's what you need to stop.
Noniel: *frowns and finishes her tea* ...it's not as easy as you think.
Eowyn: *gives her a LOOK* I haven't said it would be easy. But really. Is there any good outcome from this? What you really want is to force your brother to sleep with you?
Noniel: No, of course not! I would never force him! I don't even want to have these feelings for him! *desperate tone*
Eowyn: Well, then it's up to you to stop talking about it, and thinking about it, and wanting it. I'm am not saying it's easy, not saying you'll have a good time of it, but it's your only answer.
Noniel: I'm -trying-. *upset noise and goes to put her cup in the sink, shaking her head*
Eowyn: I know you are, but that's the only thing you can do.
Noniel: Mm. *sighs* ...can I leave Wynnie here with you for a bit?
Eowyn: Yes, of course. But Noni, you are the only person who can fix this. And you can only fix it one way - to stop it.
Noniel: Yes, I know. *feeling like she's being judged and getting uncomfortable* Thanks. I'll come back for her later.
Noniel: Thanks again. *nods to her and leaves*
Well. That went badly.
